FAQ
Frequently asked questions
The questions we are asked most often about virtual offices.
Is a virtual office legal in Turkey?
Yes, virtual offices are lawful in Turkey and widely used. Under the Turkish Commercial Code (No. 6102) a company must have a head-office address registered with the trade registry, and an address allocated under a virtual office service agreement may be declared for that purpose.
The address alone is not sufficient, however. Under the provisions of the Tax Procedure Law (No. 213) on business premises and inspection, the tax office carries out an inspection at the declared address and may request further documents or physical space depending on your field of activity. We therefore recommend reviewing your activity with your accountant before applying.
Can it be used to incorporate a company?
Yes. It can be declared as the head-office address for sole proprietorships, limited liability companies and joint-stock companies.
One detail matters: the address written in the trade registry, in the MERSİS record and in your service agreement must be identical, word for word. Even a small difference in the street number or floor can delay the inspection stage.
Which activities is it not suitable for?
If your activity requires physical space, a virtual office address may not be sufficient on its own. Manufacturing, workshops, warehousing, stock holding, food production, retail outlets and any business needing a workplace-opening licence fall into this group.
In such cases the tax office or the municipality will require premises suitable for the activity. If you are unsure, tell us your field of activity and we will say plainly whether it is suitable.
Are letters and parcels received?
Yes. Letters, official documents and parcels sent to your address are received, logged and reported to you. They can be collected from our office or forwarded to an address you specify. Where forwarding is requested, the carrier fee is payable on the consignment and may be invoiced separately depending on your package.
Why are prices not published on the site?
Because package contents vary with need — meeting room hours, mail forwarding frequency and the scope of call answering all differ. A single list price would not reflect the real cost.
